Day 2 in Phuket

Day 2 in Phuket and it was sight seeing day (: SOOO MUCH FUN (and dirt too!), but nonetheless, it was a memorable experience. My parents took us on a day's trip to James Bond Island, we stopped by 9 stops before reaching James Bond Island and boy, it was so warm and humid. Thank goodness for the wind we caught while speeding on the boat, makes us sleeepyyyy /:

The day started off with a wonderful breakfast buffet at the Marriott Hotel. Seriously their waffles and crepes are like <3333

 Then off we went on a cruise to James Bond Island (: Lent my sister my Lomo... think she looks cute with it! teeheehee (:

 First stop was a swim stop at a beach! Cant really remember the names /: Just don't have a memory for names okay!

After which, it was canoeing, part of an eco-tourism effort at Phuket. This is probably the MIGHTY FUN PART OF THE DAY! the breeze and scenery was so awesome (:

  and then we reached this beach among the limestone caves to take a photo! AND THAT'S WHEN MY CAMERA DIED ):well, after which, we took some photos at James Bond Island and we went back. MEGA TIRED BUT MEGA FUN! (:

the kite flying day (:

the boy and i have said to go for a kite flying session since... almost 3 years ago! haha but lazy us have never actually gotten to do it. until one day, i decided to buy a huge-mongous goldfish kite from Giant (:

yepp! so we took a train down to anchorvale (in sengkang) where there was a HUGE field to fly kites. pity there was no wind that day, so we only managed a small feat of putting the kite in the air for like a few minutes, and it came down /:

below are some shots i took with The Bogus One (i.e: 135BC Holga). decided to try out with the Ekta Chrome negative film from Fujifilm this time round. i <3 the dreamy look but hmmms, some shots look over exposed/ not properly exposed. oh well, let the pictures do the talking!

 well, this is the boy and the goldfish kite! (:

 and finally! there was a little breeze (: the boy caught it and sent our goldfish into the sky! haha. on a side note, this is my favourite shot of the day!

Whee! the goldfish is flyingggg~ hahaha. you have no idea how happy i was! so yah, since the kite was in the sky already, i thought i might try a multiple exposure shot! i have done many before, but they were always underexposed/overexposed, thus not developed. SO THIS IS THE 1ST SUCCESSFUL SHOT (((:

 

those whitish streaks are actually the clouds on the sky (: haha. not too bad, at least the fish did not superimpose onto the face. but this is not the prettiest shot though /: hahaha.

but anyway, kite flying was mad fun! haha and i think the boy is so pissed off that there was no wind, he kept asking to go fly kite! (: i think one day soon, we will!
