Casino Royale, this is the theme for this year's D&D (: specially decided to go support the event together with my lovely FOC people <3

surprisingly (or not?), the dress code for the event was Prom Wear! honestly, after going for so many events where people actually do not dress up like they do for prom, i was a little hesitant about putting on a nice and sparkly dress. thank goodness i wasn't under dressed or i'd have felt so awkward.

this is like a mini meetup with a lot of people whose paths have crossed mine- ex-OG mates, A Blockers etc. it really feels good to see them all once again (:

Rag&Flag Day, an annual NUS event organised by NUSSU, executed by the 10 faculties and 6 halls! Rag&Flag comprises of 2 main events- Rag Day, which is similar to a mini-NUS Chingay and Flay Day, where NUS students will go out and flag for charities. The heat is high among the halls and faculties when it comes to winning the Chancellor's Shield (for overall best Rag and Flag).

This year, Rag&Flag is held alongside the National Day Parade, on 9th August, at the Promontory. The Promontory is a really beautiful place (: It reminds me of the Bund in Shanghai, where one can overlook the skyscrapers of the city.

Decided to help KR out this year with Rag (didnt do anything much in the end other than to hang around with my favourite block people <3, HAHAHA!) but anyway, it was really really nice to see those familiar faces and to hang around them. their company is really priceless. so thank you A Block for all the wonderful staying together memories <3

Five thumbs up to KR and Biz for their victory in Rag&Flag day! Am sooo awesomely proud of them! This year round, Biz won back our Chancellor's Shield (YESSS!!!!), as well as Flag, Best Float and Best Costume, while KR won Best Flag (hall rag is not a competition this year, simply a parade, thanks to NUSSU) I am really really sure that if the halls were competing, KRaSHer's Float will emerge as the ultimate winner!!

a block picnic

outing with the A Block people yesterday and it was FUN! plenty amount of wonderful junk food (chips, nuggets, fries, milo, potato salad, bread with spread etc) and fun and laughter (: even though i've moved out of A block, i honestly can't help to miss those people whom i've lived with for one entire academic year.

this time, some freshies came along and it was really nice getting to know all of them! i guess its about time for me to pop back and say hello, before i get too old for all these socializing (:
